All Volvo D8, D11 and D13 products have passed the non road "National IV" certification

Since its entry into the Chinese market, Volvo Penta Engine has been practicing the national policies and regulations on energy conservation and emission reduction. 2022 is the last year of China's non road "National IV" emission upgrading and transformation. Time is tight and the task is heavy. In the context of the epidemic blockade in Shanghai at the beginning of the year, Volvo Penta's domestic and foreign certification teams overcame difficulties and took four months to complete the "National IV" certification of all D8/D11/D13 products at one time. The successful certification also benefits from that Volvo Penta "National IV" non road engine is based on a mature and reliable Euro 5 platform, with excellent emission performance and reliable exhaust aftertreatment.

During the certification test, the SCR vanadium based test is the most important test for product passing. During the test, the simulated engine aftertreatment will not emit harmful pollutants into the atmosphere under any fault conditions and throughout its life cycle. Volvo Quanta insists on improving the tolerance of aftertreatment to fuel quality through the use of vanadium based aftertreatment, sulfur regeneration, and low-temperature operation strategies to avoid the risk of aging and poisoning of aftertreatment, Make it more suitable for the domestic end user oil market.

Volvo Penta's "National IV" engine adopts the European Phase V technology, which can reduce the pollutant emission value to several times below the "National IV" limit, which will play an important role in the future spot check of OEM and end customer's "National IV" in-service compliance (PEMS) emissions, avoid the risk of equipment downtime, and solve the customer's use anxiety.
