The annual Volvo Penta China Engineering Technology Forum was held in Beihai, Guangxi last week. This forum gathered all the "technical leaders" from Volvo Penta service partners. At the meeting, engineers shared typical engine failure cases and conducted in-depth technical exchanges.
The three-day forum kicked off with a speech by Mr. Yang Hua, China's After sales Service Marketing Director. Yang Hua introduced the latest after-sales service market strategy of Volvo Penta, and emphasized the talent reserve among service partners and the improvement of the professional ability of service personnel to cope with the national four technology that has been implemented and the future trend of electrification.
At the forum, engineers shared practical cases on important engine systems such as the intake and exhaust system, cooling system, lubrication system, fuel system, and electrical system of the engine. This year, they also introduced new energy related knowledge for the first time, which inspired us to think about how to effectively use clean energy in the future. In the non-technical aspect, Volvo Penta mainly introduces the relevant policies of service and quality assurance, how to improve the service quality, and how to improve customer satisfaction.
On December 1, China's non road "National IV" emissions were officially implemented, and this forum also arranged a "special forum" to introduce the actual case application of Volvo Penta's EATS (Exhaust Aftertreatment) for the "National IV". In fact, as early as August 2022, the Sany pile driver has selected the Volvo Penta "National IV" engine TAD1383VE for the rotary drilling rig prototype. At present, it has been running for more than 3000 hours, with high active regeneration efficiency and strong reliability, thus greatly improving the attendance rate of customer equipment.
