1. Check the oil quality and oil quantity of diesel generator lubricating oil:

Because the diesel engine in the running process of oil shortage or sudden stop, can lead to the generator exciter failure; The low pressure oil circuit with air can lead to start-up difficulties or unstable operation, affecting the normal frequency of power generation.

3. Check the cooling water amount of diesel generator set and the starting system line:

Insufficient cooling water, so that diesel engine working cylinder liner temperature too late to take away, resulting in excessive cylinder liner temperature, damage lubrication performance; The connection line of the startup system has problems that will lead to short circuit, etc.

Two, the attention of the operation process

1. After starting, the engine should be preheated and lubrized for a few minutes, such as the preheating time of the medium speed machine is 5-8min, and the oil temperature and water temperature meet the requirements before the power supply can be closed to avoid the crack of pulling cylinder or cylinder head.

2. Note that the temperature, pressure and frequency indicated on the instrument panel are within the prescribed range. Not within the scope, to check the reason, if necessary, should stop for inspection.

3. Pay attention to whether there is an abnormal sound and observe the color of the exhaust smoke. Such as black smoke, blue smoke, white smoke is not normal.

4. Before the shutdown of the diesel generator set, the load should be discharged first, and then the exciting button should be cut off to gradually reduce the speed of the diesel generator set until the shutdown. If it is an emergency stop, the car must be turned 3-5 laps after the stop.

Three, peacetime maintenance of diesel generator set after a period of time, to maintain, to ensure that the power will not decline, reduce the occurrence of failures. Because the use of emergency diesel generating units is not frequent, the time is not long, and therefore, the maintenance is not regular. Usually should pay special attention to the "three filter" (air, oil, diesel filter) cleaning, valve clearance adjustment, fuel injector atomization inspection, radiator inspection and cleaning.
