The daily maintenance of diesel generator set includes the daily maintenance of engine and generator. All maintenance and repair work should be carried out by personnel who are familiar with generator maintenance and are specially trained. 1. Visual inspection of the whole diesel generator set. Look out for signs of potential leakage in the engine fuel system, cooling system, and lubricating seals.

2. Check whether the generator cooling ventilation plate is blocked or obstructed.

3. Check whether the generator and control box have serious ash accumulation.

If there is serious ash accumulation, it should be removed, as this will cause electrical failure and cooling failure.

4. Check the air filter, if necessary, should be cleaned or replaced.

5. Check the fuel oil level.

6. Check the engine coolant level.

18. Check the control panel to see if there are signs of abnormal operation.
