First, lifting during installation

When lifting or moving a device, do not use a device that can barely lift. The center of gravity of the equipment should be selected correctly and the generator set should be prevented from swaying when hoisting the equipment. Make sure the support frame is strong enough to support the equipment. If this is ignored, it may cause equipment damage or worse.

Two， installation location

1.The installation site should be well ventilated, the generator end should have enough air inlet, the diesel engine end should have good air outlet. The area of the air outlet should be more than 1.5 times the area of the water tank.

2. The installation site should be kept clean around, avoid placing nearby can produce acid, alkaline and other corrosive gases and steam items. If possible, fire extinguishing devices should be equipped.

3. In indoor use, the smoke exhaust pipe must be connected to the outdoor, the pipe diameter must be greater than the diameter of the smoke exhaust pipe of the muffler, the elbow of the connected pipe should not be more than 3, in order to ensure smooth smoke exhaust, and the pipe should be tilted down 5-10 degrees to avoid rain injection; If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically, a rain shield must be installed.

4. When the foundation is made of concrete, the levelness must be measured with a level during installation, so that the unit is fixed on the basis of the level. Between the unit and the foundation should be a special shockproof cushion or with the sole bolt.

5. The unit shell must have reliable protective grounding, neutral point to the need for direct grounding of the generator, must be neutral grounding by professionals, and equipped with lightning protection device, it is strictly prohibited to use the grounding device of the mains for direct grounding of the neutral point.

6. The generator and the mains two-way switch must be very reliable. In case of reverse power transmission. The connection reliability of the bidirectional switch must be verified by the local power supply department.

Three, diesel generator ventilation requirements

1. To ensure that the unit placing area good ventilation, should be able to timely evaporation of fuel out of the flammable gas. When maintaining or connecting the circuit system, ensure that the main switch is in the off position, and disconnect the battery's negative terminal connection or remove the fuse in the DC circuit. Clean or maintain the unit only when the engine is off. If the engine is in a protected stop state, the cause of the stop must be identified and corrected before restarting.

2. The exhaust gas emitted by the engine contains toxic colorless and odorless carbon monoxide. Make sure the external exhaust pipe is straight through and does not approach the intake vent. In order to reduce the exhaust back pressure, the exhaust pipe diameter can be increased, and the joints and bends should be used as little as possible to reduce the back pressure. The machine room should be well ventilated to meet the requirements of the engine cooling system.
