How to supply fuel reasonably for Volvo diesel generators

First, the installation principle

1. The storage location of the oil tank shall be safe and prevent fire. The oil tank or oil drum shall be placed separately in the visible or special place between the oil tank, appropriately far away from the diesel generator set, and smoking is strictly prohibited.

2. The fuel capacity in the tank should ensure daily supply.

3. The generator set maintenance manufacturer reminds that the resistance at the oil outlet is not allowed to exceed the specified value of the use of clean filter element specified on the engine performance data sheet. This drag value is based on the fuel tank being half filled.

4. The link of fuel return oil line should not cause excessive return oil pressure.

Two, for the oil pipeline

1. The oil pipe should be black iron pipe, can not use galvanized pipe, it will produce chemical reaction damage diesel engine.

2. The connection between the oil pipe and the unit shall be connected with a hose to isolate the vibration of the generator set.

Three, for the oil circuit: and the size and material used by the oil pipe, the connection between the oil pipe and the unit must be connected with a hose, in order to isolate the vibration of the diesel generator set.

Four, design principles

1. The oil tank shall have air holes that prevent dust and water from entering the oil tank.

2. An extra oil tray should be added at the bottom of the generator tank to collect the spilled diesel, or an oil drain should be opened beside the tank to discharge the spilled diesel.

3. The top of the fuel tank shall be equipped with an inspection port for easy maintenance.
